Meet Scott
Hi, I’m Scott Pedersen, co-owner of Crow River Cattle Co. I’ve been raising beef for more than a decade, starting in 2012 with a couple of Holsteins purchased from a neighbor. In 2013, I decided to double the herd, purchasing four calves instead of two. Each new calving season, Crow River Cattle Co expanded a little more. And with each season, I continued to learn and build a ranch, a dream, and a company that is both sustainable and transparent.

In those first few years, I discovered that I truly enjoyed farming:

progress. I like the challenge that comes with ranching. I like the life lessons being taught when my children come and help me. There are hundreds of reasons I like farming…most of them trivial.”

Meet Adam
Hi, I’m Adam Hendrickson. I joined Crow River Cattle Co as a business partner in 2022. Raised on a farm that bordered the Crow River, I was helping with farm chores and field work as a boy. I started helping my family raise beef animals on our hobby farm and eventually bought some of my own animals as the years progressed. Throughout high school, I was a member of the local FFA Chapter, where I gained agriculture insight, education, and experience.
